LME North American Special Aluminum Alloy (NASAAC)
Designed specifically for the North American secondary aluminum industry with a modified A380.1 specification with delivery restricted to Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit, and St. Louis.

Minimum Price Movement
50 US cents per tonne

Delivery Dates
Daily from cash to 3 months (first prompt date two working days from cash). Then every Wednesday from 3 months to 6 months. Then every third Wednesday from 7 months out to 27 months forward.

Shapes and Weights
The aluminum delivered under this contract shall be in the form of:

a) ingots in the weight range of minimum 4 kg to maximum 14 kg

b) small sows in the weight range of minimum 408 kg to maximum 590 kg

c) large sows in the weight range of minimum 567 kg to maximum 726 kg

Warrants
Bar warranting requirements
Warrants shall be for 20 tonnes each (2% either more or less).

Each parcel particularized in each Warrant shall comprise ingots, small sows (four-way entry sows) or large sows (low profile sows), shall lie at one warehouse, be the production of one plant and shall consist of aluminum alloy of one brand, and grade. Each parcel shall contain aluminum alloy derived from no more than five melts, and, in the case of ingots, each bundle shall contain aluminum alloy from one melt. Each parcel of ingots placed on warrant shall be securely strapped for handling and transport in bundles to permit safe handling without bundle distortion and breakage.

Warrants must contain the warning regarding entrapped moisture referred to in the Special Rules Governing the Placing of North American Special Aluminum Alloy on Warrant.

Each warrant must bear a SWORD generated barcode.
